I wanted to share with you the pictures I took today of a church demolition. St. James Catholic Church, in Chicago, is being torn down. It is a beautiful church and it's very sad to see it coming down, however the painstaking way in which it's being demolished (no wrecking ball) is quite amazing to watch. They are apparently attempting to preserve some of the stained glass windows. It's like they're taking it apart piece by piece. I keep hanging around, hoping to snag a relic.
